Southwick’s is open rain or shine, however certain attractions and features are only available weather permitting.

zoo Season
Join us for our 2023 Zoo Season in April! Thank you to everyone who visited Southwick’s Zoo in 2022! We enjoyed seeing so many familiar faces and meeting a lot of new friends. We can’t wait to see you again in 2023.
Although the zoo grounds are closed during the day, we remain open on Wednesdays through Sundays for Winter Wonderland and the Festival of Illumination until December 31.

GENERAL ADMISSION
No Rides

COMBO ADMISSION
Zoo, Skyfari & Train:

Includes: Unlimited rides on the Skyfari Ride* & Woodland Express Train. *Children must be at least 42″ tall to ride the Skyfari.
Does NOT include: Kiddie Rides, Pony Rides, Camel Rides, Rainforest Adventure Maze, or Soaring Eagle Zipline. *Kiddie Rides are closed at this time*

Online Flex Tickets are single-day tickets that are valid to use for any day during our zoo season (early April – October 31). You do not need to select a specific date or entry time when purchasing Flex Tickets. This pricing is not available at the entrance.

VALUE PASS
Value Passes are punch cards that include 12 admissions. Each time you use an admission, we will punch a hole in the pass. Value Passes don’t expire, so you do not need to use all 12 admissions in a single season!
If you purchase a Value Pass online, we will scan the barcode on your email confirmation at the entrance and provide you with your punch card ticket.

Gift Card
Looking for the perfect gift for that special person, but just can’t decide on what ticket to purchase? Let them choose by purchasing an online gift card that can be used for admission online or here at the zoo!
Online Gift Cards can be used:

- to buy admission at our entrance
- at the Purple Peacock Gift Shop
- at the Zebra Cafe
*Online Gift Cards CANNOT be used for EARTH memberships, animal encounters, rides and attractions, Galliford’s Restaurant & Tavern, food venues (excluding the Zebra Cafe), and gift shops (excluding the Purple Peacock Gift Shop).
Online Gift Cards will be emailed to you or the recipient. You may print the gift certificate out, or show it on your phone. They are digital cards only and cannot be mailed.
Earth LTD Members
EARTH Members do not need to make a reservation for their zoo visit.
Members must check in at the gate, so please have your keytag ready to scan (if you have not yet received your keytag or need a replacement, you can check in by name). Learn more about membership with EARTH Limited.
Military Rates
*Military rates are available at the entrance, however please be aware that they are not available online. A military ID or other proof of service must be presented at admissions to receive discount.
Active Service: free admission (does not include rides)
Dependents of Active Service: $20 admission (does not include rides)
Veterans: $15 admission (does not include rides)
Rain Policy
If you have been visiting the zoo less than 3 hours and must leave the zoo due to rain, please present your receipt to a cashier at admissions or the Guest Services window as you exit, and we will stamp it for a return visit this season. Please be aware that the free return visit is only available as Admission Only (general) and not Zoo-It-All (combo).
Reminder: While our zoo is open rain or shine, rides, most attractions, shows, and smaller food and retail locations are weather permitting, so they may be closed or may close early on rainy days.

Parking for the zoo is located in the large lot across the street from our main entrance. The parking lot in front of the main entrance is reserved for Galliford’s Restaurant & Tavern parking and handicap parking.
